How to Find More Gyroids in Animal Crossing: New Horizons Return the next day and dig it up and you'll find a fully-formed Gyroid! If you do not water a Gyroid Fragment, it won't grow. Once you've planted the Gyroid Fragment, you only need to water it once! After watering with your watering can (or rain) you'll then see a little puff of steam float out of the hole in the ground.
